“I think I was born with a pencil in my hand, the memories of the drawings invade my mind, paper and colors have been my life. Entire afternoons, perhaps all of them, spent immortalizing on paper everything I saw, mainly natural elements, flowers, plants and animals were immediately a source of infinite inspiration. After studying jewelery design and a long and overwhelming experience in Africa, I manage the jewelery department of the company where I grew up and delve into the history of jewellery, precious stones and the hidden meaning they convey.”
All about us
I combine precious and poor materials, not only for aesthetic taste, but above all to try to best express their meaning, their legend, their soul. The value of the materials that are used goes far beyond the intrinsic value of the object, the jewels that are created have a very strong symbolic value, linked to deep cultures and traditions. Each material is selected with extreme care; willow wood, natural pearls, ancient vintage Venetian murrine with unobtainable colours.
Everything comes from an idea: natural figures and ancient symbols are reworked according to my fantasies to create magical beings. After having delivered the design to the model makers, the wax is made and through
The lost wax casting technique produces jewelery in different metals. These are then assembled together and worked to remove the rough and join the different textures to the metal. The jewels and stones will then be entrusted to different craftsmen who will incorporate these touches of color and light into the various subjects.
Talys uses exclusively the expert hands of skilled craftsmen, carrying forward the value of "handmade in Italy". In particular in Vicenza for the great master goldsmiths, in Florence for the processing of enamels, in Rome for the micro-mosaic technique. Every art is carried forward in the city of birth.
